Eligible users
Takamori no Sato Day Service is a community-based service provided under the long-term care insurance system.
You must be certified as needing long-term care as a Type 1 insured person aged 65 or older with a resident registration in Totsukawa Village, or as a Type 2 insured person aged 40 to 64 with a prescribed specific disease. Therefore, you must be certified as needing long-term care level 1 or higher. Even if you are required assistance level 1 or 2, you can use the same services as part of Totsukawa Village's comprehensive long-term care prevention and daily life support program.

Day service is "community life support"!
The day service supports residents in continuing to live in their homes in Totsukawa Village by providing essential services such as meals, bathing, a sense of purpose, and reducing the burden on family caregivers.

SERVICE
Have fun and exercise your mind and body
We incorporate the exercises taught by Gobo Sensei (a senior gymnast) and everyone is moving their bodies with a smile on their face and having fun.
Reuniting with a friend after a long time
People who tend to stay at home in mountainous areas with almost no means of transportation can reunite with friends at day care centers, hold hands and reminisce about old times.
BASE SYSTEM
■ Food and fluids
Our dieticians, cooks, and day care staff work together to provide delicious meals. We also strive to provide meals with a lively feel. After lunch, we also provide coffee and other drinks of your choice in a cafe-style setting.
■ Recreation
They come up with games that everyone can enjoy, work on seasonal crafts, and exhibit them at the Autumn Village Culture Festival. In the afternoon, they also enjoy karaoke.
■ Bathing
Only in Totsukawa Village! Refresh yourself in the natural hot springs.
We will help you to have a safe bath.
■ Pick-up and drop-off
For some people, it may take more than an hour to get there one way, but we will make safety our number one priority when transporting you from your home to Takamori no Sato.
