[Kaoru Garden] The Sea! Part 2

Aug 30, 2022

For welfare facilities for the elderly and disabled in Shintotsukawa and Takikawa, try the social welfare corporation Meiwakai.

Thank you for reading my blog.

This is Yama-chan from Kaoru Day Service Center.

We went on the second part of the hugely popular Rumoi-Mashike sea tour (held over two days)!

Taking thorough infection control measures, we headed from Rumoi to Mashike.

The first day was blessed with weather, with blue skies and sea!

Delicious sushi and seafood bowls!

On the second day, the wind was strong and we drove while watching the rough waves of the Sea of Japan!

Enjoy seeing cargo ships at Rumoi Port, buying souvenirs at the roadside station, and eating ice cream!

"I wanted to eat sea urchin."

"I don't want any souvenirs, but I want some ice cream."

"I've seen the stormy sea."

"It's been 50 years since I've been to the sea."

"I used to work as a shuttle driver at a processing plant in Rumoi."

"I've driven this road a lot."

The drive, hearing everyone's happy voices and smiles, and hearing stories about old memories and work, was a fond memory!

The fun time passed by in a flash.

Let's go to the beach again next summer!
